Texas A&M Team Camp

June 23 – 26, 2011

 

Camp Texas is committed to promoting excellence in basketball officiating for those officials with previous three person mechanics. Camp Texas is excited to invited back to be associated with the Texas A&M University Team Camp to conduct a quality camp experience for basketball officials throughout the state of Texas.

 

The Texas A&M Team Camp features 5-A through 3-A level high school teams.  All campers will experience a combination of informative classroom sessions and be able to officiate in very competitive up tempo games available at this camp. All games will be critiqued by NCAA experienced clinicians from different officiating chapters in Texas.

 

Camp Texas will be a certified camp for both TASO and UIL Officials. The $175 fee is inclusive of dormitory lodging (Thursday, Friday and Saturday), breakfast meal and Camp Texas T-shirt.

 

Where:  Texas A&M University – Reed Arena, College Station, Texas.

When:  Thursday June 23rd - Registration: 5:30pm- 800pm, Classroom 8-10pm

             Friday June 24th - Classroom: 8am–10am; Pool Play starting at 12pm (critiqued)

             Saturday June 25th – Games (critiqued) starting at 8am

             Sunday June 26th – Games (critiqued) starting at 8am, ending 12pm


What:  The Texas A&M Team Camp offers high competitive - boy’s team play. Combined with a staff of classroom instructors and game clinicians, Camp Texas will be a beneficial experience for all three- person officials looking to improve their skills. 

 

Cost:  $175 per camper – registration and payment received prior to June 17th, $200 Walk up Fee (Cost includes classroom instruction, Game critiques, Camp Texas T-shirt, three nights dorm lodging with full breakfast each morning and  liquids during Camp Texas activities ).

 

Register:  Go to www.camptexas.us to complete registration form. Payment can be made on line or be mailed by check/money order. Space is limited so early registration is encouraged.
