Kirk’s career started in 1982 in Montgomery, AL. He has also officiated in Norfolk, VA, Philadelphia, PA and has been a member of the Fort Worth Chapter for 17 yrs. He served as the Div. IV Rep and two terms as VP. Kirk has helped train new officials during the fall and has been selected to officiate numerous playoff games and two regional tournament assignments. His goal is to involve members, willing to make the time commitment in making the Chapter a place for officials to learn, grow, and improve.

Vernon started officiating in 1986. During 22 yrs. of service, he served as division rep and chairman or member of many committees. Assisted in training of newer officials and served as an evaluator at the Wellington Johnson Lone Star Camp. He is an electrical design engineer and has been married to Marla for 32 yrs. They have two children, Aaron (29), Kyla (27) and two precious grandchildren Clara (3) and Cullen (4 days /30/11). He enjoys time with his family, golf, snow skiing and working in the yard.

David joined the chapter in 2001. He has served as the Representative for Division IV, Division II (twice) and At Large. He has served on multiple committees and assisted with new officials training. David is Self Employed as a Home Kitchen/Bath Remodeler, with 14+ years experience, covering all aspects of design and service. He resides in Grand Prairie with his beautiful wife Lynn and their 3 daughters Kelly, Cortney and Quinn. They enjoy family time together, traveling, golf, aviation and sports. (x)

Chris joined the Fort Worth Basketball Officials Association in 2003. This is his first year as a board member. He is married to his wife Sharon of 7 years and they have three children – Caleb (14), Isabel (11), Trinity (5) and stepdaughter Lauren (21). Chris loves spending time with his family and enjoys playing golf.

Retired teacher/coach for Hurst,Euless, Bedford ISD, 35 years service. Married 29 years to Claudia. Two children, twins - Mallory and Bryan, 26 years old. I enjoy all sports; play golf and senior softball. Work part-time as substitute teacher and drivers education instructor. Began officiating in the Ft. Worth Chapter in 2006.

Del's officiating career started in 1995. During his 15 years of service, he has served as the Div. 4 Rep, District Director for two terms and now as the At-Large Rep He has assisted in the training of first year officials for the past 8 years. Woody joined the Chapter in 2005 at the urging of a longtime official who felt like anyone who really enjoyed the sport would enjoy officiating. Woody is serving his first term as Admin. Secretary. He has been very active in the chapter. His goal is to continue to insure the Chapter provides the best high quality officiating in the State of Texas. He is a CPA, volunteers at his church, is on the Board of the Glen Lake Camp and Retreat Center in Glen Rose, Texas and is very active within his profession.

Darrell is a 21 yr. veteran of the FWBOA. He served as Assignment Secretary (5 yrs.), President (2 yrs.), and now as Past President. These positions have given him a broad understanding of the relationship between the chapter, coaches and schools the Chapter services and insight into the assignment process. He is a business owner/operator (since 1990), and is a bi-vocational Minister of Music. He and his wife Dana have two children, Guy and Leslie-Marie. Darrell enjoys golf, snow skiing and traveling.

Shannon has officiated basketball for 11 years. In addition to his high school basketball commitments, he also officiates college basketball for the Gulf South Conference. He lives in in Azle, Texas and is a self-employed franchise owner of several Chicken Express Restaurants. Shannon has three kids and serves on the Azle School Board. He is currently training for an ironman triathlon scheduled for June 2011 in Coeur d’ Alane, Idaho.
